Paul Traxler

Paul C. Traxler, 82 of Greenville, SC, formerly of Hicksville, died April 2, 2011 at home after a long illness.  Paul was born in Butler, IN on June 8, 1928 a son of the late Terry & Lucille (Dove) Traxler. He was a machinist at Zollner Piston, Fort Wayne. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of The VFW. He was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hicksville.

Paul will be sadly missed by his wife, Marguerite Lockhart-Traxler; step children, Diana MCalla of Greenville & Diana (Dale) Egly of Hicksville; sister Phyllis Kearns of La Otto, IN; 17 step grandchildren & many step great grandchildren.

Paul is also preceded in death by his wife, Inez (Geiger) Traxler; step sons, Daniel Lockhart & Robert Collins; brother, Robert & sister, Virginia Ward.

Paul's graveside service will be held at Maumee Cemetery, CR 43, Antwerp, Ohio on Friday, May 6, 2011, at 11 am.
