Paul H. Treece, 78, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Born in Findlay, Ohio, on April 11, 1947, Paul was the son of the late Eunice (Karch) and Lowell Treece DDS. He devoted much of his career to excellence in manufacturing, working as a Quality Control Manager at Dana Weatherhead and later at Airway Manufacturing.
From a young age, Paul found joy in the outdoors—especially camping and boating, a passion that remained constant throughout his life. He enjoyed taking his kids on long boat rides around Hamilton Lake, watching them waterski, tube and kneeboard. He was a man of faith and actively served in various roles within the churches he and his family attended. Paul was a wealth of knowledge about all sorts of makes/models of cars. Paul loved being with people. He will be missed by his Florida Tuesday morning breakfast friends as well as all the Florida friends. He was also an avid follower of the Green Bay Packers and a faithful Notre Dame football fan.
Above all, Paul cherished his family. He will be remembered for his deep love, quiet strength, unwavering support and his laugh! He will be profoundly missed by his wife of 36 years, Dorothy (Englehart), whom he married on October 1, 1988; his children, Todd (Diana Wunder) Treece, Michelle (Tom) Stricker, Bret (Kelley) Treece, and Grant Treece; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Kelble, and his siblings, Ron Treece and Linda Karhoff.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 11:00 AM, with a viewing from 9:00–11:00 AM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio.
Paul will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paulding County Sheriff's Department to support the dog kennel—a local organization that reflects Paul’s compassion and love for all dogs.
