Some of my fondest memories of Payne Ohio, include spending time with Uncle Phil and Aunt Marcia and Judd. Going to Fort Wayne to catch the new Batman movie or going to the mall, or watching Phil coach Judds baseball team. I will miss both of them, and will see them again one day. With love, Seb and Lana

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing. Sort of lost track over the years but I remember him fondly as one of us "bad boys" from Payne way back when. Although we weren't really that bad compared to what goes on today, we did help to make Payne a little more exciting. Much to the chagrin of Henry Hook. My condolences to all his family.

So sorry to hear about your Dad. Phil and I spent a lot of time together at BFG. How those days have flown by. When Linda and I use to get together with your Mom and Dad we always had a good time that will never be forgotten.

I am so very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He was a great guy when we were all growing up together at Payne Campmeeting. I went through bible school and youth camp with Phil, Jimmy and Johnny. You all have been blessed with family to love, but have lost too many too soon, as with Phil. God be with you all.
Loving memories and prayers,

Dear Judd and all of the Helms' immediate and 'extended' families.... I was absolutely stunned to learn of Phil's death. He was on my mind the night prior, without any knowledge of his condition, as I reflected on Marcia and a memorial gift made in her memory and a personal note to him that I had recently sent reflecting on her and there life together and how very special it was. Part of that 'note' referred to the many times I'd see both of them sitting on the lawn just off the northwest corner of their home, enjoying each other, God's creation and watching passing motorists like me, who'd give out a 'beep' and a wave. Well, I have no doubt that they are back together AGAIN, enjoying each others company, in the presence of the Lord.
He/they will be fondly remembered forever Judd. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. Jim Hooker - Mesa, Arizona
