Rebecca Ann Short

Rebecca Ann (Neff) Short, 36, of Payne, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015.  

Becky was born in Paulding on Aug. 17, 1979.

She was a lifelong resident of Payne, having graduated from Wayne Trace High School; worked for  the American Red Cross for 14 years & was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church.

On June 1, 2002 she married Archie  Short.

Becky will be greatly missed by her husband; parents, Karen Neff of Payne and Kevin & Delores Neff of Arjay, KY; sons, Ethan Crates & Keegan Short;  step daughter, Summer Gilbert; brother, Kenneth (Charee) of Paulding; grandparents, Jean Young and Bill & Mary Neff all of Payne and nieces & nephews, Scarlet, Evander, Hayden & Brielle.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Howard Young.

Her funeral service is at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Payne at 11 am on Wednesday,  with viewing one hour prior.
 
Viewing is also Tuesday, 5 - 8 pm  at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne. 

She will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery. 

Her family strongly suggests memorials to Ethan Crates & Keegan Short in lieu of flowers.
