Rex Stores

Rex Eugene Stores, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Adams Woodcrest of Decatur.

Rex was born in Paulding, Ohio on May 15, 1956, a son of the late Margaret and Rolla E. Stores.

He worked at the Decatur and Auburn Foundries for a combined 20 years but he was most comfortable driving nice cars, reading good books and listening to a vast variety of music. Rex also enjoyed the friends he made when he attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Rex will be sadly missed by his daughter, Rachelle (Jason) Keesler; step-son, Michael (Deb) Schuller; step son-in-

law, Dennis (the late Angela) Stabler; brother, Keith (Cheryl) Stores; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial visitation is Thursday, May 28th, 5 PM to 6 PM with a memorial service for Rex at 6 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

He will be laid to rest privately in Blue Creek Cemetery, Haviland, Ohio.

Memorials are to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
