Robert Eugene Bland, 79, of Haviland, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Laurels of Defiance.
Robert was born in Paulding County, on January 22, 1945, a son of the late Cletus Glenn Bland and Mabel Lorene (Saxton) Bland.
He worked in Maintenance at General Motors and was known for his love of fishing.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert (Suzanne) Bland, Michelle (James) Conroy and Daniel (Terri) Bland; siblings, Catherine Matson, Rae (Charles) Holtsberry, Glenn (Beverly) Bland, Harry (Pamela) Band, Greg Bland & Wilma Bland; brother-in-law, Larry Greathouse; long time companion, Shirley McCreery; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lester Bland and Mary Greathouse.
Robert will be laid to rest privately.
