Robert Earl Foust

Robert Earl Foust, 84, of Payne, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at The Gardens of Paulding.

Bob was born in Payne on November 20, 1927, a son of the late Grace (Purk) and Harry "Bill" Foust.

He served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Fruehauf for many years. Bob was a lifetime member of the NRA, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of Saint Jacob's United Church of Christ.

On Aug 30, 1947 he married Marjorie Harting.

Bob will be sadly missed by his wife, Marjorie; children, David (Evelyn) of New Haven, Indiana & Caroline (Bob) Young of Delaware, Ohio; brother, Leo Lyon of Albany, IN; 3 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.

He is also preceded in death by his son, Michael & siblings, Budd Lyon & Helen Murray.  

His service is at Saint Jacob's United Church of Christ, Payne, at 2 pm on Sunday, November 11th,  with viewing one hour prior. Rev. James Langham will officiate.

Bob will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery with military honors.

Memorials are to the church.

Our sincerest condolences on the loss of Bob. We shared many great times at the"lake". Rose and I truly cherish those times and memories. Bob will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. Our prayers are with you.

My sincere sympathy goes out to your family.  I have fond memories of Bob as I grew up and spent alot of time at grandma and grandpa Burris''s.  May he rest in peace in the hands of the lord.  Let God guide each of you in this time of need.
