Robert was born in Defiance on June 8, 1958, a son of the late Dolores (Rickels) & Robert W. Phlipot, Sr.
Bob worked as a meat cutter for 38 years at Chief Supermarket followed by 11 years at Jacob's Meats. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and spending time outside working in the yard and garden. He was a hardworking man who loved his family.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife, Gina (DeLong); sons, Robert Phlipot, III & Andrew Hughes; siblings, Sandra (Joseph) Weaver, Janet (Randall) Goyings, & Debra (Kim) Poling; brother in law, Steve Peters; 8 nieces and nephews & beloved dog, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his in laws, Janet & Zeb DeLong & sister in law, Lana Peters.
A celebration of life in Bob's honor will be held on June 15, 2024, at the Antwerp VFW.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paulding County Dog Kennel or the Paulding County Nurses Auxiliary.
