Robert Mitchell Welch

Robert Mitchell Welch, 93, of Haviland, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Bethlehem Woods, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Robert was born in Grover Hill, Ohio on July 27, 1931 a son of the late James Robert and Geneva Beatrice (Wistner) Welch

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954. Robert went on to become a flight engineer for American Airlines. He was a master craftsman of furniture and woodworking. He once made a one piece bed for his family that they transported across the country to Texas. He also enjoyed his hobby with remote control airplanes and going to casinos.

Robert will be sadly missed by his wife, Beatriz (Sepulveda); children, Steve Welch, Christine Martin, Janice Diehl and Brenda Harris; brother, George Welch and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Dana, James, Geneva, Jacqueline, Sarah and Rose.

His graveside service is at Middle Creek Cemetery, 21031 Rd 48, Grover Hill on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10 AM.
