Robert Wiswell

Robert Wilson Wiswell, 77, of Cecil, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Paulding County Hospital.

Bob was born in Defiance, Ohio on May 25, 1949, a son of the late Geraldine Frances (Rosselet) and Lloyd Emory Wiswell.

He served in the United States Army as a Private in the Vietnam War. Bob went on to work at Dana Weatherhead in Antwerp. He built a life of love and faith with the love of his life, Marilyn (Temple) to whom he was married June 2, 1973. Marilyn passed away April 2, 2021. Bob loved the outdoors and felt most comfortable hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his trips to Canada.

Bob will be sadly missed by his son, Timothy; grandchildren, Samantha (Nathan) Stechschulte, Kyle (Aubrey), & Isaac Wiswell and brothers, Frederick, Mike (Jennifer) & Thomas; sister in law, Angie; & great grandchildren, Tatum & Konnor.

Bob was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack & grandson, Oliver.

Viewing is Monday, November 9th from 4-6:30 PM with Rosary service at 6:30 at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Bob's Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, November 10th at 10 AM with viewing from 9-9:45 AM at Divine Merch Catholic Church, 417 N Main St, Paulding, OH 45879.

He will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery, Cecil.
