Robin James

Robin Kathleen James, 69, of Payne, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana

Robin was born in Paulding, Ohio on July 25, 1955.

Her fulfilling career at SCAN in Fort Wayne never overshadowed the love that she had for her family. Robin especially enjoyed watching her grandkids sporting events. She was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Indianapolis Colts fan. Those who knew her best will miss her "much needed" advice and conversations about politics.

Robin will be sadly missed by her husband, Walter, to whom she was married on November 21, 1975; children, Cassie (Scott) Braun, Angie Fisher and Michael James; sister, Colleen (Danny) Endicott; grandchildren, Morgahn (Zack) Spencer, Reagan and Zac Braun, Dylan, Riley and Bailey Hildebrand; great grandchildren, Waylen and Lakylen Spencer and best friend, Bonnie "the old bat" English.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise (Mead) Lilliedahl; siblings, Jennis Claybaugh and Dennis Lilliedahl and nephew, Andy Stout.

Viewing is Thursday, May 29th, 3 pm to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio.

Robin's funeral service is Friday, May 30th, 2 PM, with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.

She will be laid to rest in Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
