Ronald Dean Eschbach

Ronald Dean Eschbach, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away July 19, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Ron was born in Paulding on August 5, 1950, a son of Ruth (Caryer) and the late Harold Eschbach.

As CEO of the Antwerp Exchange Bank for many years, he led with integrity, wisdom, and a warm smile that made everyone feel welcome. His quick wit and wonderful sense of humor brought joy to colleagues, customers, and the many friends he made throughout his career. Outside of work, Ron enjoyed spending time on the golf course and cherished the companionship of his beloved pugs. Ron will be remembered as a respected leader, a trusted friend, and a kind-hearted man who touched the lives of so many.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marsha, to whom he was married January 22, 1988; mother, Ruth Eschbach; children, Nathan Eschbach, Kimberly (Chris) Clemons; & Kari (Mark) Harris; siblings, Linda (Thomas) Riley, Larry Eschbach, & Marianne Riley; 7 grandchildren; & 3 great grandchildren. 

Ron will be laid to rest privately.
