Ruth A. Savage

Ruth A. Savage, 80 of Coral, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Savage was born February 26, 1936 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Gilbert and Sidonia (Werling) Hahn.

She graduated from Antwerp High School and the Lutheran School of Nursing in Fort Wayne. She was a Registered Nurse for 44 years working in six different hospitals, retiring from Kelsey Memorial Hospital in Lakeview, MI. She loved playing the piano and singing, especially Christian music. She led the music at Weaver's Needle RV Resort in Apache Junction, AZ.

Surviving are her husband, Lynn "Cy" whom she married on Oct. 11, 1957; children, Matt (Vickie) Savage, Luke (Denise) Savage, Yvonne Savage; grandchildren, Zachary Dones, Amy Dones, Adam Honaker, Kelly Savage, Corissa Savage, Benjamin Savage, Grace Savage; brothers, Ken (Jan) Hahn, Chuck Hahn; sisters, Virginia (Bob) Schoenike, Kathy Gormely; sister-in-law, Carol Hahn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Hahn.

The family will greet friends Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, MI.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 – 3 pm at the Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with the service at 3:00 pm.

Interment Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp, Ohio.
