Ruth Wells

Ruth Wells, 95, of Woodburn passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.

Ruth was born in Huntertown, Indiana on January 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Eleanor (Miller) and Ernie  Rodenbeck.

She worked many years at Sheller Globe. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother who thoroughly enjoyed a good card game. She was an avid walker, having survived three of her walking partners. 

Ruth will be sadly missed by her children, Don Wells, Joyce Werling, Barb (Greg) Maroney, Chris (Russ) Heyn and Jane (Kent) Brenneke; grandchildren, Lori (Tom DeArmond) Werling, Jeremy Werling, Stephanie Lewis, Matt & Ben Heyn, Jon & Josh Maroney and 5 great grandchildren.

Ruth was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Knoblauch.

Service is at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St, Woodburn on Thursday, May 11, 2023  at 10:30 am, with viewing, 9:30 to 10:15 am
.
Viewing is also Wednesday, 4 to 7 pm at the church.

She will be laid to rest at Christ Lutheran Cemetery. 

Memorials are to Christ Lutheran Church.
