Dear Laura, Jim and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about the lost of your Mother.  I have very fond memories of Sally as I so very much enjoyed working in Accounting with her.  We had such a good time especially planting flowers at the entrance of Navistar and also decorating the lobby at Christmas time.  Sally was also a very good cook and could come up with some good recipes.  One I still use a lot today has been given the name of "Sallys Soup", because this was something she just threw together.  Yum! Yum!   I am always remindful of her when I make it .

Praying that God will comfort your heart, uplift your spirit, and carry you through this time of sadness to a place of peace.

With Deepest Sympathy.

James and Laura,
Tears are flowiing for the family of the most pleasant person, Sally (Ahr) Davis, that I ever met. We were good high school friends. We worked together on High School reunions. We were also good friends with your Mother and Dad as you were growing up as kids. I know your Mother loved the Lord and is so happy to meet him face to face. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You in all the days ahead! Much love. Janet & Dick Evans.

LAURA AND JIM,
YOU HAVE OUR SYMPATHY IN THE LOSS OF YOUR MOTHER. WE WILL
ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES WE SPENT WITH HER DURING
OUR YEARS OF FARMING. JUST SITTING DOWN TALKING TO DEAN AND
SALLY ON THE PATIO TABLE WILL FOREVER BE A MEMORY OF OUR
GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. WE WERE GOING TO HAVE RHUBARB STALKS
AND INSTEAD SHE MADE US THE WHOLE PIE!  IT WAS ALWAYS DELICIOUS!  SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL.

Dear Jim, Laura and families..... What sad news we received from Paulding County earlier today?!  But I think your Mother was looking forward to being reunited with your Father and was certainly not enjoying herself these last couple of years.

It was a pleasure to have served with her on the original Friends of the Payne Branch Library Committee as we worked to establish a Branch of the Paulding Co. Carnegie Library in Payne.  She was a dedicated, tireless and focused lady and there was no doubt in the minds of her fellow Committee members that we would accomplish our goal.

I'll have nothing but fond memories of her and I have no doubt that those memories will serve to inspire me in the future as I undertake yet another 'project' for the good of the Payne Community.

After getting reacquainted with your Father, I bet she'll be waiting anxiously to serve the Lord throughout eternity in the Heavens above.

With my admiration for her and my sympathy for you, Jim Hooker, Mesa, AZ

Laura and Jim,
So glad we old come see Aunt Sally this fall.  I really believe God gave us the time with her.  She was so alert, funny and such a precious time together.  I have so many memories of her and Uncle Dean.
I can see Aunt Sally now seeing Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Dean and my Dad.  I know she is so excited to see our Lord too.  How exciting it must be.
I know how hard it must be for you all.  Just remember you are all in our prayers.
W love you so
