Sandra Koch

SANDRA KAY KOCH, 82, of Harlan, died peacefully at home with her loved ones at her side on June 13, 2026. 

Born in Harlan, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Clara (Lake) Stotler. 

She devoted her life to raising her family and serving others in the community. When she wasn’t doting on her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed gardening and entertaining others by serving home-cooked meals that were her love language. 

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth George Koch; sons, Mark (Lynne) and Jeff Koch of Leo; daughters, Karin (Gary) Jefferies of Harlan and Gail (Nick) Werner of Muncie; sister, Linda Nobles of Ossian; grandchildren, Alicia, Gary Jr., Erin, Christopher, Cameron, Grace, Chloe, Ethan, Jake, Emily, Sam, Dean, and Audrey; and seven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rick. 

Funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19, at Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Rd., Woodburn, with calling one hour prior. 

Calling is also from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 18 at Woodburn Missionary Church. 

Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.
