Saundra Brantley (Wobler) passed away on September 25, 2021 while surrounded by her family, after a long fight with breast cancer. She was 58 years old.
Saundra was born in Payne, Ohio and raised in Paulding Ohio. Despite her battle with depression and anxiety she didn’t complain and found ways to cope with her creative flair for decorating. Her creativity was passed down from her mother Arlene Wobler Who passed away in 2011.
Saundra appreciated art and had an extensive collection which she enjoyed changing with each season. She was a natural beauty Who valued and appreciated life. She would thoughtfully end each phone conversation with the heartfelt words, “I love you. “
She especially had a compassionate and loving heart for animals and frequently rescued strays. She enjoyed family vacations, camping and nature.
Saundra was an avid birdwatcher with a broad collection of books identifying a variety of bird species. She was an amateur botanist and arborist with extensive knowledge on tree identification.
She loved beading and crafting and enjoyed a variety of music such as Vince Gill, Queen and Fleetwood Mac.
Saundra was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her one son, Koleton Teders Who is married to Ashley Teders and loved her role as Grandma to her grandchild Emma.
She was the precious wife of Iven Brantley for 19 years and loving mother to her step-son, Jordan Brantley his wife Kayla and their daughter Allyanna; step daughter, Summer Mefford, her husband Vern and children, Jasmine and Brook Aleen.
She was the adoring daughter of her father Gary Wobler and wife/step-mom Sophie Hulka who reside in Carmel Indiana.
She was the dear sister of Kathy Mann and husband Tom Mann of Greenfield Indiana; Julie Joy and husband Amos Snider of Louisville, Kentucky; Andy Wobler of Bloomington, Indiana; Terry Wobler and wife Debbie Wobler of Kittery, Maine.
All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, dry wit, charm and grace.
Viewing for Saundra will be held Friday, Oct. 1st, 9 to 10 am at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 State Rout 500, Payne, Ohio 45880
Saundra's funeral mass will be held Friday, Oct. 1st, 10:30 am at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 203 W. Townline, Payne, Ohio 45880.
She will be laid to rest at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Payne.
