Steven E. Litzenberg, 68, of Antwerp, passed away at home on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Steve was born in Hicksville on August 14, 1953, a son of the late Mary L. (Wannemacher) and Ross M. Litzenberg.
He was a 1972 Wayne Trace graduate. Steve retired from Vulcraft after 29 years, but was most comfortable spending time with his family at Sunset Cove, Marble Lake, MI. Steve enjoyed woodworking, fishing and tinkering in his garage. He worked tirelessly in his garden each year. His Saturdays and Sundays were filled with cheering for the Buckeyes and the Browns. Steve was also a Cleveland Indians fan and he loved to watch Dale Earnhardt go left on the track!
He was a member of the Antwerp VFW Post 5087 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2556.
Steve will be sadly missed by his wife, Michelle (Stevens) to whom he was married October 2, 1999; children, Shane (April) Litzenberg, Charie (Brad) Peters, Allie (Joe) Beregszazi & Stacy (Matt) Hopkins; siblings, Linda (the late Carl) Baumert, Julie Thomas, Mike (Carol), Mark (Cindy) & Marvin (Judy) Litzenberg.; grandchildren, Emerson, Cohen, Isabelle, Madisyn, Braxton, Carter & Cambria.
Viewing is 3 PM to 7 PM, Thursday, November 11th, at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.
His funeral service is 11 AM, with viewing one hour prior on Friday, November 12th at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.
He will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
