Susan Tinlin

Susan Elaine (Cadwallader) Tinlin, of Payne, Ohio passed away suddenly at the age of 79 on June 19, 2023. She had spent most of her life in the Payne, Ohio area and attended Blue Creek High School.  After raising her 3 children, Susan worked for many years as a bookkeeper at C&Y Oil and then later for the Trane Company and Skyline Sales in Fort Wayne, IN.  She retired from work and went on to enjoy many years as an avid quilter, a diehard bingo player, donating hats that she had knitted to hospitals all over the country and volunteering at the Bargain Bin.  Her greatest joys were her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, with whom she spent a great deal of time cooking for and attending anything they participated in.  Sue was the glue that held the family together and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Maxine Cadwallader, sister Sally Lorden and her son-in-law Stephen Coyne.  She is survived by her husband, John, brother, Michael (Madge) Cadwallader and children, Lisa (Ron) Mandel, Mark Tinlin and Amy Coyne, and her many grandchildren and great children who she cherished and adored beyond expression.  Susan's memorial service will be Saturday, June 24th at 3:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio 45880. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bargin Bin in Paulding, Ohio in her memory.
