I only now learned of Terry's passing. So very sad.... I had "Mr. Ross" for two years of French and one of English at PHS. He was such a great teacher! I especially loved that he tried to show us a little of the world beyond Paulding. You may want to see a web group, "You know you are from Paulding County if...." To see how highly liked and respected he was.
Bill, if you get this, I wonder if you remember riding back from Miami with Tom Bashore, me, and my mom. You and Tom were way cooler than me, but didn't treat me like some little freshman twerp!
My condolences to your families. Pat Paulus

I was "googling" Terry to find out why he hadn't responded to my e-mails.  Now I am deeply saddened to see what I came up with.  Terry was the first person I met, at my first job just out of college in Fort Wayne, IN.  I was nervous after meeting him, thinking he'd be a crotchety older man...set in his ways, not willing to give this "new kid on the block" any room to grow.  I was sooooo glad I was wrong.  He was one of the smartest people I have ever met.  He was also very endearing to all that had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.  The world will be different without him in it.  I know I will never meet another Terry Ross again.  And for that I will dearly miss him!  Thank you Mr. Ross for all that you have taught me and for making me laugh so many times!  We Love You Always, Sparkle & Family:)

My Condolences to all his family. Terry was a sweet dear man. I loved visiting him at the Candy store. I was extremely saddened to hear the news. But I know he is smiling down on all of us saying he's ok and happy. Rest in peace. I will miss you Terry. Barbara

We will truly miss seeing Terry at Candy Heaven.  He had such a special place in his heart for our daughter Sofia, and she enjoyed her visits with Mr. Terry. She would always run to give him a hug whenever she saw him.

We and all the students at World Martial Arts Academy will miss his smiling face.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Sue, Jan, Bill and family for the loss of Terry. As his neighbor in Indianapolis, I always enjoyed his pleasant conversation and witty humor when our paths crossed. He was a genuinely nice person, and I will miss him!
