Timothy Bowers

Timothy J. Bowers, 62, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, October 12th, at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Columbus.

He was born in Fort Wayne on July 30, 1949, a son of the late Ruth (Fields) and George R. Bowers.

Tim proudly served in the U.S. Marines as a Cpl. from 1969 to 1975. He was an electrician.

On April 7, 1978 Tim married Shirley Copsey.  He will be sadly missed by his wife, Shirley; children, Laurie (Dan) Wilhelm of Oakwood, Pamela Hanson of Cleveland, Timothy J. Bowers of Defiance & Shad Bowers of Paulding; siblings, George (LeAnn) Bowers of Grover Hill, Ken (Judy) Bowers, Kathy (Brad) Clemens, Pat (Rose) Bowers  & Susan (Harvey) Clemens all of Paulding & Barb Farquhar of Cecil; 8 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Frank.

Visitation is Monday, October 17, 2011,  6 to 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio.
