Timothy Eugene Wirts

Timothy Eugene Wirts, 57, of Payne passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Tim was born in on July 7, 1964, a son of Louise Irene (Hammons) Craft and Eugene Samuel Wirts.

He worked in shipping, handling and delivery at Quikcut in New Haven, IN. Tim enjoyed life and the people around him. Deer hunting was his favorite activity, but he never missed a game involving The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns & Cincinnati Reds. His love of the outdoors extended into camping and hiking, always finding the best trails with his wife, Jenny. They took great vacations to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, Beaver Island, Michigan & Gettysburg. Tim also loved many genres of music.

Tim will be sadly missed by his wife, Jenny (Jones) to whom he was married on July 18, 1987; mother, Louise Craft of Payne; father, Eugene Wirts brothers, Gene (Joe Davis) Wirts of West Blocton, Al and Tom (Polly) Wirts of Payne; Godchildren, Lee (Cindy) Reuille of Payne, Cori (Justin) Rogers of Convoy; his dog, Shyloh Kyra and his many friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his God son, Jake Reuille.

Visitation will be held 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Sunday, September 5th at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.
