Ursie Delong Hemenover, 94, of Antwerp, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Ursie M. Hemenover was born in Harlan, Indiana on March 8, 1917, a daughter of the late Jennie (Shaffer) and Aaron Gorrell.
She was a homemaker & owner of The Pine Room Restaurant, Antwerp and a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church.
Ursie was a loving mother & grandmother who will be sadly missed by her sons, Paul (Robbie) DeLong of Henderson, NV & Ray DeLong of Antwerp; grandchildren, Andy, Tony & Shawn DeLong & Tammie Provines & 7 great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford DeLong & Roy Hemenover and siblings, Myra Johnson, Dora Hissong and Lloyd, Roy & Joseph Gorrell.
Her viewing is Wednesday, 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.
Her funeral service is at Antwerp United Methodist Church at 10 am, witrh viewing one hour prior, on Thursday, January 5th, with Rev. Michael Schneider officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Harlan Memorial Cemetery.
