Valerie Jean Williams

Valerie Jean Williams, 70, of Fayette, formerly of Payne, went to her eternal home on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Valerie was born in Paulding on July 20, 1951, a daughter of the late Katherine “Norma Jean" (Fulk) and Richard D. Burk.

She was a 1970 graduate of Payne High School and  received her Human Service Degree from Northwest State Community College. Valerie loved to watch movies and  spent countless hours reading at the Fayette Library. She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Fayette, transferring from the Payne Church of the Nazarene. On July 19, 2013, she retired from Con Agra She will always be remembered as a woman that treasured her family.

Valerie will be sadly missed by her children, Starlet (Brian) Moore, Fawn (Mark) Mayette & Nicholus (Cecelia) Williams; siblings, Patrick (Mary) Burk and Melanie (Jay) Perry; grandchildren, Josh, Zack, Denize, Cory & Cody and great grandchildren, Spring, Eliakim, Piper & Rowena. 

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Neal Burk.

Viewing is Monday, May 9th, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio 45880.

Service is  Tuesday, May 10th, 10:30 am, with viewing from 9:30 am to 10:15 am at Payne Church of the Nazarene, 509 Orchard Street, Payne, Ohio 45880.

She will be laid to rest in Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
