Vellina Doster

Vellina C. Doster, 88, of Antwerp, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Parkview Nursing Center, Edgerton, Ohio.

Vellina was born in New Madrid, Missouri on October 11, 1933, a daughter of the late Daisy May (Taylor) Musgrave & William Loyd Page.

Vellina attended Paulding High School and went on to work as a Nursing Assistant and Physical Therapy Assistant at Paulding County Hospital. Some of her favorite activities were sewing, crocheting, and reading and clipping from the newspapers. Vellina was an ornery, loving, and caring woman, who loved her family with all her heart. Above all, she valued her time spent with her children and many grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Debbie (Sam) Friend of Antwerp, Sandra (Brian) Swann of New Port Richey, FL, Pamela (Bill) Friend of Antwerp, Crisann Phipps of North Port, FL, Linda (Gerry) Barnes of Louisville, TN, & William Doster II of West Virginia; 12 siblings; 16 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren, & 7 great great grandchildren.

Vellina was preceded in death by her husband, William Doster, to whom she was married on March 10, 1951; 5 siblings; 1 grandchild; & 3 great grandchildren.

Viewing is Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 4-7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W River St., Antwerp, Ohio 45813.

Service is Friday, June 3, 2022, at 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest at Hedges Cemetery in Paulding.
