Ivan L. Woodling, Jr, 76, passed away Sept. 1, 2016 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born Nov. 8, 1939 in Toledo, a son of the late Betty (Walters) & Ivan Woodling, Sr. Ivan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He later worked at Norfolk & Southern Railroad and then spent 23 years at BF Goodrich. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Michele (Mark) Rasey of Antwerp & Faith (Paul) Harless of Fort Wayne; sisters, Pam Ford of McClure & Cheryl (the late Jim) Schwiebert of Hamler 5 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 7 nieces & nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen & sister, Janet (the late Jim) Pooley. He will be laid to rest privately in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center. Memorials are to Community Health Professionals, 250 Dooley Drive, Paulding, Ohio 45879. Dooley Funeral Homes of Antwerp & Payne assisted his family.
